Join a team committed to efficient and responsible recycling solutions.Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Crane Operators and Excavator Operators with shear head attachment experience. This role supports the processing of scrap metal in a fast-paced yard environment.Key Responsibilities
Operate hydraulic cranes or excavators with shear heads
Cut, process, and move scrap metal efficiently and safely
Load/unload materials according to production needs
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Follow strict safety and company procedures
Support material handling and yard organization
Communicate with scale house and supervisors to coordinate work
Requirements
2+ years operating hydraulic cranes and/or excavators
Proven experience using a shear head attachment
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather
Steel-plate sole boots required
Strong safety awareness
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a scrap yard or recycling facility
OSHA or heavy equipment certifications
