Woodworker – Door Company – Norman, OKLocation: Norman, OK Pay:$18.50/hour Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Position Type:Temp-to-HirePosition Overview:People Source OKC is hiring experienced Woodworkers for a door company located in Norman, OK. This role requires 1-2 years of woodworking or construction experience and familiarity with woodworking machinery and hand tools. The successful candidate will work in an assembly environment and create custom doors based on customer specifications.Job Responsibilities:
Use woodworking machinery and hand tools to craft doors (e.g., saws, sanders, drills).
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate door construction based on customer specifications.
Shape, cut, and mold wood components to form complete door structures.
Select appropriate wood types based on durability, aesthetics, and project needs.
Prepare and cut wood for door assembly, ensuring all components meet quality standards.
Job Requirements:
1-2 years of woodworking or construction experience.
Familiarity with woodworking equipment and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an assembly environment.
Temp-to-Hire opportunity after 90 days with the potential for long-term employment.
