People Source Staffing we are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Connector that has 3-5 years of Experience to join our team. As a Welder/Connector, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining various types of beams, rails, steel columns & joist. THIS POSITION WILL START JANUARY 12, 2026 – THIS IS LOCAL POSTIONPay Rate:$26.00- $32.00 Per Hour (D.O.E.)Responsibilities
3-5 Years Welding/Connector Experience Required (Will be tested onsite)
Read tape measure/Rollout tools
Installation of safety railings, floor openings and general safety items.
Responsible for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and following OSHA standards.
Weld pipe and structural steel (1" to 48") to ASME, API, and 100% X-Ray code standards
Perform welds in various positions on code materials
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, including layout and fit-up
Cut and prep materials using flame/plasma torches, saws, grinders, and measuring tools
Operate shop equipment:
Iron worker
Overhead crane
Rigging gear
Pipe threading machine
Tube bending machine
Pneumatic hand tools
Assemble and fabricate components with minimal supervision
Promote a safety-first, productive work environment
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to improve process
Physical Demands
Frequently bend, squat, climb, stoop, twist, and reach
Lift up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Qualifications
Must have 3–5 Years Verified Welder / Connector Experience
Welding Certification Required
Certified to weld on pipe or plate
Own welding hood and steel toe boots required (not provided)
Must have Osha 10 Certification required
Must Speak, Read, Write & Understand English
Must provide own tools.
Able to read a tape measure, use a level, square and laser
Strong welding skills for joining columns, rails, beams, etc together
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Must be able to lift at least to 50 pounds
May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold)
Maintenance facility environment, may be exposed to varying temperatures, moving equipment, noise and exhaust fumes
Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs
May require working overtime as needed
Must have reliable transportation
