People Source is looking for a Water Tanker Driver in Midlothian, TX Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Water Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting bulk water inside a construction project. No route or deliveries. Day shift with some overtime and weekends on occasion. Duties
Operate tanker trucks to transport liquid freight within construction site.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Utilize manual transmission when required for specific routes or conditions.
Assist with general labor duties when not driving, such as cone pickup / setup, keep site clean & free of debris, etc.
Experience
2+ Years Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with tanker trucks.
Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle effectively.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
Osha 10 or willing to obtain
Must be 21 years old
Valid DOT Medical Card
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual is a plus
Must understand the laws, rules, and regulations governing driving motor vehicles
Able to safely operate any commercial motor vehicle
Able to stay calm and function in a stressful, unexpected, or emergency situation
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Must pass pre-employment background screening
