This role involves configuring and operating electrically powered presses to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, or other materials. Tasks include blanking, bending, punching, and forming according to blueprints and instructions.Job ResponsibilitiesPlease mark each item you are able to perform:
Keep work area clean at all times following 5S methods: Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain
Dimensionally and visually inspect parts to ensure they meet customer requirements
Lubricate parts in accordance with work instructions
Assist machine operators with lifting/placing raw or finished materials onto pallets
Operate a punch press machine
Measure raw materials and finished products
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform sanding, grinding, and deburring using hand or power tools
Move items/parts through the shop using a pallet jack
Count and sort finished product
Complete quality checks upon product completion
Work effectively with a team and independently
Pay high attention to detail
