1130PM–7:00AM (Weekdays)
7:30PM–7:30AM (Thursday–Sunday) Note: Some shifts may end early depending on production needs. Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary:People Source is hiring for an Extrusion Operator with a local conduit manufacturing company. This role supports extrusion line operations by assisting with machine setup, monitoring production, inspecting product quality, and ensuring the production area remains clean and efficient.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with machine setup and alignment at the start of production runs
Conduct visual and physical inspections to ensure product quality
Record production and quality data accurately
Package, weigh, and move finished products
Assist in product changeovers, clean-ups, and machine shutdowns
Operate forklifts and related machinery (training provided)
Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Support and train other operators as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in manufacturing or extrusion is preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment and in varying weather conditions
Must have good attention to detail and time management
Ability to learn and follow quality and safety standards
Forklift experience required (certification can be obtained on the job)
Basic computer skills and ability to complete reports accurately
