We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual with forklift and material handling experience, including shipping and receiving. This position supports smooth warehouse operations by receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials and finished goods, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving and Inventory Management:
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders; check quantities and quality
Label and store materials accurately according to system
Conduct regular inventory counts
Maintain and update inventory records in the computer system
Material Distribution:
Pull materials for production orders accurately
Deliver materials to production workstations
Stage finished goods for shipment with correct packaging and labels
Material Handling Equipment Operation:
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely
Perform pre-shift inspections and report maintenance needs
Quality Control:
Inspect materials upon receipt for damage or defects
Follow quality procedures to ensure product integrity
Safety and Housekeeping:
Follow all safety regulations and procedures
Wear required protective gear
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Report any safety concerns immediately to management
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in warehouse work and material handling
Forklift experience required
Basic computer skills for inventory input
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
Strong communication skills
Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials safely
