People Source OKC is Hiring – Cycle CounterDepartment: Inventory Control
Reports To: Inventory Control Manager
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (overtime on Fridays and Saturdays)Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Overtime: Saturdays as needed
Pay: $19.00 per hourPosition SummaryThe Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through routine cycle counting and reconciliation activities. This role supports inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and loss prevention within the warehouse or distribution center.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established schedules
  • Accurately count inventory using handheld scanners or manual count sheets
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records
  • Identify root causes of inventory variances and report findings to management
  • Enter inventory data accurately into WMS or ERP systems
  • Support physical inventories and audits as required
  • Maintain accurate labeling, bin locations, and organized storage areas
  • Follow inventory control procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards
  • Communicate discrepancies, damages, or process issues to supervisors
  • Assist with inventory process improvements and training initiatives
QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of warehouse, inventory, or cycle counting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills; WMS or ERP experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to work with fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Basic understanding of inventory-related math concepts
Physical Demands
  • Regular standing and walking
  • Frequent use of hands for counting and handling materials
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
  • Close vision required for detailed counting tasks
Work Environment
  • Exposure to wet or humid conditions
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and vibration
  • Moderate noise levels
  • Occasional exposure to electrical hazards
