This role is critical to setting up and adjusting presses used in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, be detail-oriented, and have prior experience in a manufacturing or machine tool setting.As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate installation, removal, and adjustment of dies, as well as troubleshooting and ensuring quality control during production.Responsibilities
Set up and remove dies in punch press machines
Adjust machinery to meet job specifications and production standards
Use precision tools to measure and confirm correct setup
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures related to machinery and material handling
Work collaboratively with machine operators and supervisors
Skills and Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery
High attention to detail and precision
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
Physical stamina; ability to lift/move heavy dies and equipment
Good communication skills
Previous experience as a machine operator or die setter preferred
