Job Description People Source OKC is hiring an entry-level production technician for a transmission manufacturing company located in OKC. Willing to train candidates in assembly and mechanical work. This is a temp-to-hire position. Shifts Available:
Friday-Sunday 5:30am-6:00pm – $16/hr. - Optional and Mandatory Overtime.
Monday-Saturday 6:00am-2:30pm or 3:30pm-2:00am
Temp-to-hire opportunity
Essential Job Functions:
Include: Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble transmission components using hand, power, and air-powered tools.
Physical Demands:
Regularly stand for extended periods (10-12 hour shift), use hands to handle tools, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Perform tasks requiring repetitive grasping and occasionally kneel, stoop, or crouch.
Work Environment:
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles, but most tasks are performed in an air-conditioned environment.
Moderate noise levels; PPE (steel-toe shoes, eye protection, and earplugs) required at all times.
