PEOPLE SOURCE IS NOW HIRING — TEMP TO HIRE Panel Assembler – Technician | $20/hour | Monday–FridayJob DescriptionPeople Source Staffing is seeking a skilled Assembler with UL508A experience and PLC programming skills. This role is responsible for the assembly, wiring, configuration, and testing of electrical control panels. Duties include applying power, downloading and modifying PLC/HMI programs, troubleshooting circuits, and ensuring panels meet manufacturing standards, UL508A requirements, and customer specifications.Reports To: Operations ManagerPrimary Responsibilities
Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to UL508A standards
Read and interpret electrical schematics
Cut, terminate, and label wires according to work instructions
Cut and prepare wireway, covers, and DIN rail
Use software to create wire and component labels
Assemble small manufactured components
Complete all traveler and production paperwork accurately
Meet quality standards and report issues promptly
Apply power (single-phase and three-phase) to verify panel integrity
Load, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs
Configure electrical components per schematics and spec sheets
Assist with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience assembling panels with UL508A compliance
Ability to read electrical schematics and follow UL508A standards
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Dependable, safety-focused, and self-motivated
Knowledge of drives, control panels, and industrial automation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree, technical school, or trade certification preferred
Minimum 3 years of electrical panel assembly or technician experience
Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems
