This role involves moving, lifting, and handling steel products in varying conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Candidates should have experience working in a steel yard environment, handling heavy materials, and operating overhead equipment. Training will be provided for torch cutting, but applicants must be comfortable working with tools and steel products.Dress Code: Jeans, T-shirt, steel-toe boots. No shorts or baggy clothing allowed.Key Requirements
Experience working in a steel yard and handling steel materials
Overhead experience (equipment/material handling)
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
Willing to work evenings and weekends if required
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Standing for up to 8 hours
Bending, squatting, pulling, twisting, pushing, and repetitive motion
Lifting above head
Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
Operate in warehouse and yard environments
