Monday–Friday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Saturday: Generally 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (may vary as needed)
Job SummaryThe Welder I position assists in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. This role requires safe, quality welding practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. MIG welding and fit-up experience are a plus.Duties & Responsibilities
Perform skilled MIG welding on steel frames and structural components
Assist with fit-up as needed
Use tools such as scrapers, 7” grinders, welding hood, and gouger
Follow all welding procedures and company policies
Maintain proper housekeeping in assigned work area
Demonstrate strong safety awareness at all times
Train on company procedures and safety requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
Familiarity with MIG welding processes
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide fractions)
Experience with plasma torches and oxy-acetylene cutting is a plus
Welding certifications beneficial but not required
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Additional Requirements
Steel-toe boots required
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
