Now Hiring – Manual Machinist Location: Oklahoma City, OK Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime possible) Pay: $20/hour Position Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewPeople Source is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment used in the production of precision parts.A manual machinist operates tools and equipment to produce or repair precision mechanical pieces. They read and interpret blueprints and designs, set up machinery, and perform accurate measurements to ensure products meet required specifications. Below is a list of typical responsibilities for this role.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate manual machining equipment to produce precision parts
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any issues
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or in a similar role
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Proficiency with precision measuring tools and machining equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable with a consistent work history and willingness to work overtime as needed
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
