People Source is Hiring – Maintenance Technician Location: Dover, OK Pay: $25 – $32/hourly (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Reports to Maintenance SupervisorPosition SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role supports safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems to ensure the achievement of business goals and objectives.Essential Responsibilities
Perform diversified duties to maintain plant equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Read and interpret manuals and work orders to complete maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
Use a variety of hand/power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
Participate in the maintenance On-Call system.
Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report to supervision.
Comply with MSHA regulations while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
May drive company vehicles (pick-up/maintenance truck) to transport parts locally.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in industrial/electrical trade OR five years of industrial/processing maintenance experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Welding certification preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and controls.
Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and industrial systems.
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb stairs/ladders, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, squat, push/pull, and work in cramped quarters.
Operate mobile equipment and hand/foot controls.
Perform sustained overhead reaching.
Lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 150 feet.
Tolerate working outdoors in all environmental conditions (heat, cold, wet, dry, dusty).
Work at heights up to 150 feet.
Vision: normal depth perception, color recognition.
Ability to work in areas with high noise levels (up to 85 dbs).
Working Conditions
Outdoor assignments in all weather conditions.
May perform duties outside of normal responsibilities as needed.
