Job SummaryWe are seeking a Machinist to operate Manual and CNC lathes, ensuring accurate measurements, proper documentation, and consistent quality. Training is provided. This position reports directly to the Foreman and Plant Manager.Responsibilities
Produce quality parts on Manual and CNC lathes in a safe and timely manner.
Load parts using overhead lifting equipment or appropriate material transfer systems.
Set up parts using fixtures, make correct offsets, and confirm setup before operation.
Read and interpret blueprints to meet part dimensions and tolerance requirements.
Monitor machine operation to detect and prevent malfunctions.
Adjust offsets and tooling as needed to maintain product quality.
Maintain machine tools, fixtures, and work area in an orderly manner.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
Follow all HSE, and QTS policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions).
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Oilfield industry experience is an asset.
