People Source OKC is hiring a motivated and reliable Machinist to join our team in Oklahoma City. While extensive experience is not required, candidates should have some familiarity with HAAS mills and lathes. Experience with Mazak lathes is a plus. We are willing to provide training for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with our company.
Temp to hire opportunities after 90 days.
5:30am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday.
$19-$25/hourly.
Desired Skills: Operate and maintain HAAS mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts. Assist in setting up machines for production runs and ensuring proper machine calibration. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Requirements: 1 year of job stability, they are looking for someone to stay. Relaxed environment but be there on time. Self-directed. Able to get the job done without being micromanaged. Able to ask questions when they don’t know the answer. A perk if they want to learn how to program the mill or lath.
