People Source we are looking for Local Class A Flatbed Driver in the Greater Waco, TX area. Must have Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License & Medical Card. Must Be willing to Load/Unload Freight. Willing to work Mon – Fri with some Saturdays Schedule starts 6:00am until Finish. Looking to lose weight, bulk up, and be your best driving self?! Drop gym membership and come help get stuff built! Duties & Responsibilities:
Stamina to repeatedly lift heavy building materials up to 80+ lbs. for load/unload.
Comfortable driving Class A Tractor Trailer Flatbed
Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
Competencies:
Pay Rate $21.00 Hourly.
Overtime after 40
Average 50+ Hours weekly
Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive.
Communicate professionally with co-workers and customers.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in stationary position while driving commercial vehicle 80%
Must be able to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for load/unload.
Constantly, moving from unloading materials onto job site.
Constantly, operates commercial motor vehicle and/or boom.
Constantly, positions self to unload materials from flatbed or boom.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Minimum Class A license with 1 Year of experience.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Clean Background
Requirements:
Must be 21 years old and possess a valid commercial drivers’ license
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual is a plus
Must understand the laws, rules, and regulations governing driving motor vehicles
Able to safely operate any commercial motor vehicle
Able to stay calm and function in a stressful, unexpected, or emergency situation
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Must pass pre-employment background screening
Verification of Employment & work authorization status
