People Source Staffing we are seeking an experienced License Commercial Electrician to join our team. As a Commercial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings. Position is in Dallas/Fort Worth area. Pay is Based on Verified Experience Responsibilities:
Commercial Electricians work on electrical systems in commercial settings such as Data Centers, Hospitals, offices, retail stores, & public buildings
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams
Installing and maintaining electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting
Inspecting circuit breakers and transformers
Identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked, reporting progress to supervisors and project managers.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in electrical technology, and changes in electrical codes and regulations.
Requirements:
Must have 3+ Years Verified Experience as a Commercial Electrician
Proven work experience as a commercial electrician.
Experience in commercial and industrial electrical systems.
Must be proficient in understanding, speaking, reading & writing English.
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.
Valid Apprentice, Journeyman or Master Electrician license. (TDLR)
Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, with a demonstrated track record of successfully completing electrical projects in commercial settings.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify electrical issues effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with team members, clients, and other tradespeople.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while meeting project deadlines.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
