People Source is hiring an Auto Body Installer of aftermarket parts and accessories for heavy duty trucks. The pay will range between $25-$35/hourly depending on experience. At least 2 years of Auto Body experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIESo Complete install shop operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work resultso Maintain install shop staff by working with H.R. to recruit, select, orient and train employees.o Maintain install shop staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results and communicating with H.R.o Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are meto Update colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issueso Handle multiple projectso Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedureso Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goalso Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill WORK ENVIRONMENTThe Install Shop Lead will be exposed to all areas of the facility, including the production shop. The position involves a significant amount of physical labor, requiring long hours of lifting, standing, and movement around the install shop. Temperatures in the shop are variable. The noise level in the shop may be moderate or high. The shop may expose the employee to fumes, airborne particles, vibration and/or chemical odors. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis position requires the ability to travel from the office environment into all areas of the shop/facility to include navigating stairs and equipment. This position requires verbal and auditory communication abilities for interaction with internal and external customers and requires the ability to visually inspect work in process or finished product. This position is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlOccasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSo High school diploma or GED is required. Associate degree or two years of technical school and/or 6 months previous experience preferredo Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environmento Ability to work with team and customer towards issue resolutiono Computer skills (preferably Excel, Word and NCR) and organizational abilities.o The ability to multitask.
