Aviation Inspector – F135 ProgramLocation: Midwest City, OK Job Type: Temp to Hire Salary:16-20(DOE) Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtainPosition Summary:People Source Staffing is currently seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Aviation Inspector to support F135 engine maintenance and inspection operations. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety on Pratt & Whitney’s F135 engine, the powerhouse behind the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.The ideal candidate will have prior experience with military propulsion systems, a deep understanding of inspection protocols, and the ability to work in a structured, fast-paced, and secure environment.Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections on the F135 engine and related components throughout maintenance, overhaul, and repair stages.
Ensure all work complies with U.S. Air Force Technical Orders (TOs), OEM specs, and DoD/FAA regulations.
Verify documentation accuracy and configuration for all maintenance activities.
Work closely with engine technicians, QA personnel, and engineering teams to resolve discrepancies.
Monitor and uphold Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and tool control policies.
Perform final inspections and sign-offs for engine acceptance or return to service.
Maintain inspection records, checklists, and logs per military and internal standards.
Participate in internal audits, evaluations, and process improvement related to the F135 program.
Required Qualifications:
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Military equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience with military jet engines (F135, F119, F110, etc.)
Direct experience with Pratt & Whitney engine platforms (F135 preferred)
Strong knowledge of military TOs, GEIA-STD-0006, and/or AS9110 standards
Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and digital maintenance manuals
Proficient in using inspection tools and basic non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
