People Source Staffing We are seeking skilled and experienced Certified Commercial HVAC Service Technicians throughout the DFW Metroplex. We have available positions in Lewisville, Dallas, Haltom City & Fort Worth Areas. Join our team and provide your expertise with (HVAC) systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality HVAC services to our clients. HVAC Service Tech Level Pay:Entry Level 0 – 2 Yrs. Experience $22 - $24 Mid-Level 3yrs - 5 Yrs. Experience $25 - $27 Advanced Level 6+ Yrs. $28 - $32Senior Level 8+ Yrs. $32 - $40Pay Rates are all Based on Verified ExperienceResponsibilities:
Perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance work on HVAC equipment; change filters, belts, clean coils and lubricate, as necessary.
Technicians will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairs of split system units, RTU’s, VRF Mini-Split systems and single Mini-Split systems
Technician will be required to complete all required company documentation for start-ups, warranty claims, Extra Work Authorizations, etc
Install electrical, electronic and pneumatic controls.
Perform brazing and soldering tasks as required for installation or repair of HVAC equipment
Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and maintain a clean vehicle at all times.
Provide technical support to customers and/or technicians.
Take readings from pressure gauges, thermometers, and electrical meters to evaluate proper equipment operation.
Read and adhere to diagrams, blueprints, specifications and manuals for installation and repair of HVAC equipment.
Commission start-up and checkout of HVAC equipment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited HVAC apprenticeship program or vocational training is preferred.
Verifiable experience with Multiple A/C Units.
Experience with Aaon units a plus, but not required
Must have fundamental understanding of controls and line voltage electrical systems within equipment.
EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation & Clean Driving Record
Strong understanding of HVAC principles, including refrigeration cycles, air distribution, and thermal control.
Familiarity with a variety of HVAC equipment and systems, including split systems, packaged units, heat pumps, and more.
