Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift / Zamboni Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced construction site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure the efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the facility. Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and Zamboni, to load and unload materials from trucks and containers and ensure construction area is clear and well maintained.
Safely transport goods throughout the construction site while adhering to all safety protocols.
Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
Proficiency in operating various forklifts and Zambonis.
Experience with shipping and receiving processes at construction site.
Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory management.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining individual accountability.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with other warehouse staff.
A valid forklift Certification is mandatory.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well in a team-oriented environment.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
