Now Hiring: Electroplater – Automotive Components – Manufacturing Facility | OKC Area Location: Oklahoma City, OK Pay: Competitive – inquire during application Schedule: Full-Time (Exact hours provided during interview)About the Role:People Source is seeking a skilled Electroplater – Automotive Components to join a growing industrial manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in chemical plating and a strong understanding of safety and quality control in a production environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring metal components are properly coated to meet industry and customer specifications.Key Responsibilities:General Duties:
Control and reduce scrap and rework through careful handling and processing
Maintain lot integrity and adhere to strict production documentation standards
Follow daily and weekly work orders to meet production deadlines
Ensure all plated parts meet precise quality, thickness, and appearance standards
Effectively communicate with supervisors, team members, and quality control staff
Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow company policies and OSHA safety regulations at all times
Plating-Specific Responsibilities:
Set up and operate plating equipment including tanks, racks, and hoists
Prepare parts for plating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting for defects
Monitor chemical tank levels, temperatures, and solution concentrations
Perform chemical tests to ensure bath chemistry remains within acceptable ranges
Adjust plating solutions as needed and log all maintenance and production data
Assist with preventive maintenance on plating tanks and equipment
Support the Small Parts or Racking department during downtime or slow periods
Assist Supervisors with tracking inventory and plating cycle documentation
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must speak, read, and understand English proficiently
Able to stand 8–10 hours per shift and perform repetitive motions
Comfortable working around chemicals and wearing PPE
Able to lift 50 lbs regularly
Must have excellent attendance and reliability
Previous experience in metal plating, electroplating, or chemical handling is required
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred
