Electrical Technician – OKCPay: $22 – $28/hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (some overtime may be required) Type: Temp-to-Hire (after 90 days)People Source OKC is currently hiring candidates with experience in industrial electrical work. This position involves wiring equipment, programming and troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs, and assembling and wiring control panels in a professional environment.Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial electrical work (construction-focused experience alone is not sufficient).
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and wiring control panels.
Ability to read schematics and wire equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to understand English.
Steel-toed boots and basic hand tools required.
Preferred:
Electrical apprentice or journeyman license (not required but helpful).
Duties & Responsibilities (Summary):
Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot control panels and industrial equipment.
Program, operate, and maintain PLCs and VFDs.
Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
Install electrical components in compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members and provide technical support as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Must pass a background check.
Must pass a drug screen (OMMA card not accepted).
