People Source we are seeking skilled and dedicated Apprentice Residential Service Electrician to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in residential service settings. This role requires proficiency in working with various electrical components, panel installs, troubleshooting & repairs. Compensation & Incentives Our pay structure combines hourly pay plus commissions, rewarding technicians who take initiative and communicate effectively with homeowners. Position Details
Role: Level 3 or Higher Residential Service Electrician (service, repair & diagnostics)
Start: Immediately (after background, MVR & drug test)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Full-time (typically 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
License: Valid TDLR Apprentice
Vehicle: Company truck provided after direct hire (must be willing to drive your own vehicle to service calls)
Can confidently present repair or upgrade options to customers in a professional, educational way.
Builds trust and rapport quickly during service calls.
Maintains high ethical standards while identifying legitimate improvement opportunities. In addition to base and commission pay, there is bonus potential for:
Selling Service Agreements (Memberships)
Promoting upgrades or add-on products
Exceeding performance standards such as customer satisfaction scores or conversion rates
Requirements
6+ years of proven experience as a Residential Service Electrician.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.
Experience working on residential sites is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
