Job Description

People Source is hiring Class A Flatbed Driver in Waco, TX.  Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Stamina to repeatedly lift heavy building materials up to 80+ lbs. for load/unload.
  • Comfortable driving Class A Tractor Trailer Flatbed
  • Must be will to also work in the warehouse & stock 
  • Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
  • Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
 Compensation:
  • Pay Rate $20.00 - $21.00 Hourly Depend on experience
  • Overtime after 40
  • Average 50+ Hours weekly
  • Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive.
  • Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.
 Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Minimum Class A license with 12 months of experience.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
 Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to remain in stationary position while driving commercial vehicle 80%
  • Must be able to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for load/unload.
  • Constantly, moving from unloading materials onto job site.
  • Constantly, operates commercial motor vehicle and/or boom.
  • Constantly, positions self to unload materials from flatbed or boom

Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years old and possess a valid Class A commercial drivers’ license
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual is a plus
  • Must understand the laws, rules, and regulations governing driving motor vehicles
  • Able to safely operate any commercial motor vehicle
  • Able to stay calm and function in a stressful, unexpected, or emergency situation
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Must pass pre-employment background screening
  • Verification of Employment & work authorization status
