Now Hiring: 2nd Shift Material HandlerLocation: Oklahoma City, OK Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM Pay: $17.50 per hour Type: Temp-to-HireJob OverviewPeople Source OKC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler to join a warehouse team in Oklahoma City. This is a physically demanding position involving the safe movement and staging of heavy materials using sit-down forklifts, stand-up side loaders, and overhead cranes.Materials are primarily stored outdoors, so the ability to work in all weather conditions is required.Job Duties
Take and pull material orders as needed
Operate sit-down forklifts and stand-up side loader forklifts
Transport skids and bundles of sheets and plates
Bundle materials using steel banding and a banding gun
Scan stock tags and stage materials for shipping using an inventory scanner
Load and unload metals onto 48’ flatbed trailers
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather
Most lifting is performed using forklifts, pry tools, or an overhead crane with suction cup lift, though some manual lifting is required.Requirements
Experience operating sit-down forklifts, side-loaders, and overhead cranes (required)
Ability to regularly lift 50–75 pounds
Strong attendance record and reliable transportation
Steel-toe boots required
Must pass a drug screening and background check
Dress code: No sweatpants or basketball shorts; wear weather-appropriate workwear
