People Source Staffing we are seeking a skilled and experienced 2nd Shift Dock Lead to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of DOT & FMCSA Rules & Regulations of the warehouse The ideal candidate will possess a strong Logistics & DOT background. String attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Location: Grapevine, TXSalary: $52,000 per year
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM
About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Dock Leader to oversee our dock operations. As the Dock Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth handling of shipments, managing dock staff, and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate dock operations and staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards on the dock.
- Resolve any operational issues promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor and report on dock performance metrics.
- Operate Sit down Forklift & Be certified
- Understand DOPT & FMCSA guidelines
- Strong Logistics background
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dock or warehouse operations preferred.
- 5+ Yrs of Management Experience
- Must be able to operate Sit Down Forklift
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
