Now Hiring: Metal Fabricator Location: Oklahoma City Pay Range: $18 – $30/hr (Based on experience; lead fabricators with 20+ years earn $30/hr) Shift: Full-time | Temp-to-Hire OpportunityPosition Overview: People Source is seeking skilled Metal Fabricators to join a high-performance custom fabrication team. You'll be responsible for transforming shop drawings into fully finished, high-quality metalwork products, ensuring both structural integrity and cosmetic appeal.Job Responsibilities:Fabrication Duties:
Review and interpret shop drawings
Create cutting lists from raw materials
Layout miters, bends, cuts, and machining
Weld joints to be structurally sound, square, true, and visually acceptable
Operate manual machining tools: benders, welders, drills, etc.
Participate in field installations of fabricated components
Maintain craftsmanship in projects ranging from 10 to 4000 hours in scope
Lead and coordinate fabrication/installation teams as needed
Basic Tasks & Duties (from Company Policy):
Take direction from the Fabrication Foreman and be accountable for quality and quantity of work
Always be at assigned workstations after breaks
Clean and set up your work area at the beginning and end of the day
Keep all tools, materials, and areas organized and in proper places
Always use proper safety gear, eye protection, and tools as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with fabrication, welding, cutting, and fitting
Knowledge of fabrication safety standards and shop equipment
Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and stand for long periods
Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings
Must pass background check and drug screen
Clean driving record (for install team participation)
