Our client is searching for candidates for the 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday. The starting pay is between $18.00 per hour. People Source – OKC 5350 S Western Ave Suite 103Oklahoma City, OK 73109(405)609-2888 Essential Job Functions: The coordinator is responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and practices are maintained while meeting production goals. Reviewing and monitoring plant conditions and practices for employee health and wellbeing is a must. The coordinator will also work with all employees to enforce strict health and safety regulations. Strong adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as maintaining a current knowledge of changing policies to ensure compliance.
Daily, weekly, monthly, etc. audits- fire extinguisher, forklift, PPE, eye wash station,
Employee safety training as well as on the job specific training
Assist in general office duties as needed.
Must be organized, have good computer skills as they will document training.
Spend time on the production floor daily so must be okay with the environment.
Work closely with supervisors to ensure all employees are following safety protocol.
