High-Tech Electrical Technician – OKCPay: $25 – $30/hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (some overtime may be required) Type: Temp-to-Hire (after 90 days)People Source OKC is currently hiring an experienced High-Tech Electrical Technician for a leading industrial facility in Oklahoma City. This position involves advanced electrical troubleshooting, control panel wiring, and working with PLCs and VFDs on high-tech industrial equipment.Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industrial electrical field.
Proven experience with PLCs, VFDs, and control panel wiring.
Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
Strong communication skills and ability to understand English.
Must provide steel-toed boots and basic electrical tools.
Preferred:
Electrical apprentice or journeyman license (not required but helpful).
Duties & Responsibilities (Summary):
Wire, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control panels and equipment.
Work with PLCs and VFDs to ensure optimal machine performance.
Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial machinery.
Follow OSHA and company safety policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must have solid industrial experience (residential or commercial experience only is not sufficient).
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must pass a background check.
Must pass a drug screen (OMMA card not accepted).
